Sam is a projects lawyer with a personable and pragmatic approach. He has a unique and highly sought-after skill set, with extensive experience in energy projects and regulation, banking and finance, procurement, construction and general commercial law.
Recent Projects
ZCEF – developing and negotiating an 11 connection point utility scale hybrid connection agreement for SA Water in connection with their Zero Cost Energy Future Project and assisting SA Water with related regulatory challenges.
Goyder Wind Farm – working closely with Neoen as primary legal counsel on the land access, FIRB, grid connection and other general commercial workstreams relating to the project.
Torrens Island Power Station A restructure project – preparing project documents for the decommissioning of AGL’s TIPS A transmission assets and conversion of regulated entry points to an unregulated BESS connection point.
ElectraNet connection projects - a number of connection projects within ElectraNet, including Hornsdale Wind Farm, Lincoln Gap Wind Farm, Willogoleche Wind Farm, Bungala Solar Farm and Hornsdale Power Reserve.
